Bar spoon

The bar spoon refers to a utensil with a long twisted shaft and small bowl, designed to stir cocktails and perform layering. The spiral shaft allows smooth rotation between the fingers during the stir. Its bowl also serves as a measure, holding roughly five millilitres. Some models carry a flat disc or a muddler at the opposite end, useful for tamping or gently crushing.
