Chapelle-Chambertin
A grand cru of Gevrey-Chambertin whose name recalls a vanished medieval chapel on the site. On the nose it evokes Clos de Bèze without quite all of its body and breadth, sometimes revealing a surprising finesse. Its stony limestone soils give elegant, perfumed Pinot Noir, appreciated by enthusiasts seeking a more ethereal Chambertin on prestige lists.
