Condé Nast Traveler Hot List

The Condé Nast Traveler Hot List is the magazine's annual pick of the world's best new hotels, published since 1996. The single criterion: the hotel must have opened within the 12 months before publication (typically in May). Curated by contributing editors who visit anonymously. Small list: only 50 to 70 hotels per year, from hundreds of openings worldwide. For travelers, the Hot List is the most coveted recognition for a new property: it's an industry signal that an operator has nailed its first year, and a major commercial accelerator (it covers the window where comparable reviews are still missing and travel agents are looking for fresh recommendations). 2024 Hot List included Hôtel Madame Rêve, Six Senses Rome, Patina Maldives, and Janu Tokyo.
