The final phase of a fragrance's evaporation, during which the base notes predominate and the scent settles on the skin. The drydown reveals the lasting character of a composition and its memory imprint, sometimes hours after application. For a hotel signature scent, it conditions the memory left with guests and the persistence of the brand identity.
