Emerald cut

Rectangular step cut with cropped corners and stepped facets, whose long parallel lines create a hall-of-mirrors effect. Originally devised for the fragile emerald, it reduces internal stress in the stone while maximising yield from the rough. Its broad table showcases clarity more than fire. Palace windows make it a signature of elegant, understated rings prized for their restrained, architectural geometry.
