Jumeirah Group

Jumeirah is an Emirati luxury hotel chain founded in 1997 in Dubai, whose first property, the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, opened in November 1997. The group reshaped global hospitality with the 1999 opening of the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab. Owned since 2004 by Dubai Holding, controlled by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, it operates around thirty beachfront resorts and city hotels across the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
