Marlborough

Marlborough refers to the leading wine region of New Zealand, at the northeastern tip of the South Island. It gained worldwide fame through sauvignon blanc, a grape that here expresses a vivid, aromatic style marked by citrus, tropical fruit and fresh herbaceous notes. Its sunny climate with cool nights preserves acidity and aromatic intensity. Pinot noir and chardonnay also hold a growing place in this dynamic and comparatively young wine region.
