The MICHELIN Plate, or MICHELIN Plate symbol depending on the country, distinguishes restaurants selected by the Guide's inspectors for quality cuisine without reaching the star or Bib Gourmand level. This distinction is materialised by a plate pictogram in the Guide and constitutes the first quality marker for a house aspiring to MICHELIN recognition.
