MICHELIN Plate

['michelin plate', 'assiette michelin']

The MICHELIN Plate, or MICHELIN Plate symbol depending on the country, distinguishes restaurants selected by the Guide's inspectors for quality cuisine without reaching the star or Bib Gourmand level. This distinction is materialised by a plate pictogram in the Guide and constitutes the first quality marker for a house aspiring to MICHELIN recognition. The MICHELIN Plate targets around 8,000 establishments across the world in 2026 and marks a demanding editorial selection, the restaurant already figuring among the best in its category according to Guide criteria (Source: MICHELIN Guide, 2026).
