Napa Valley

Napa Valley refers to a wine region in California, north of San Francisco, regarded as the most prestigious in the United States. Its reputation rests on cabernet sauvignon, the flagship grape yielding opulent, structured reds, alongside chardonnay, merlot and sauvignon blanc. Established as an American Viticultural Area in 1981, the valley enjoys a Mediterranean climate and a mosaic of volcanic and alluvial soils that lend its wines depth and richness.
