Negroni

The Negroni refers to an Italian cocktail of equal parts gin, red vermouth and Campari, served over ice with an orange twist. Tradition credits its creation to Florence around 1919, when Count Camillo Negroni asked to strengthen his Americano by replacing the soda water with gin. Listed in the International Bartenders Association manual, it has become a globally recognised bitter aperitif.
