Painted coffered ceiling

Inherited from Arab-Andalusian, Moorish and Ottoman traditions, this type of ceiling crowns ceremonial salons and reception halls. Its restoration mobilises specialist craftsmen. It constitutes one of the most precious heritage features of Eastern palace hotels, often the focal point of a grand interior.
