Reverse dry shake
The reverse dry shake refers to an emulsion method in which the iced shake precedes the dry shake, reversing the classic sequence. Ingredients are first shaken over ice, strained to discard the ice, then shaken again without it. This order yields a firmer, more meringue-like foam. The Whiskey Sour and the Ramos Gin Fizz benefit particularly from the process.
