Ribera del Duero

Ribera del Duero refers to a wine region in Castile and León, Spain, stretching along the Duero river. It is renowned for powerful, structured reds made from tempranillo, known locally as tinto fino or tinta del país. The high altitude of the vineyards and the pronounced day to night temperature swings concentrate aromas and yield dense, age worthy wines, typically matured in French oak barrels for extended periods before release.
