Sheldon Adelson

Sheldon Adelson (1933-2021) founded and led the Las Vegas Sands Corporation. He invested 1.5 billion dollars in The Venetian, opened in Las Vegas in 1999, then developed the Venetian Macao and the Marina Bay Sands complex in Singapore, unveiled in 2010. His integrated resort model blending hotel, casino and convention centre shaped global destination hospitality.
