Steve Wynn

Steve Wynn (born 1942 in New Haven) reshaped the Las Vegas Strip in the 1990s with spectacular resorts. He opened The Mirage in 1989 and the Bellagio in 1998, a 1.6 billion dollar temple of luxury, before taking Wynn Resorts public in 2002. A noted art collector, he came to embody the upscale destination casino hotel.
