Tisch family

Brothers Laurence (1923-2003) and Preston Robert Tisch (1926-2005), born in Brooklyn, bought a New Jersey resort hotel in 1946 that grew into the Loews Hotels chain. Larry handled finance, Bob operations, and together they built the Loews Corporation conglomerate. Their American dynasty still owns Loews Hotels, an upscale urban and resort brand.
