Tommy's Margarita

The Tommy's Margarita refers to a variant of the Margarita made with one hundred percent agave tequila, lime juice and agave syrup, without orange liqueur. It was conceived around 1990 by Julio Bermejo at Tommy's restaurant in San Francisco. In 2008, the International Bartenders Association listed it among the New Era Drinks, the only cocktail tied to a specific venue to appear in its official manual.
