Vamana

The therapeutic emesis of panchakarma, inducing controlled vomiting to remove excess Kapha lodged in the stomach and respiratory tract. Preceded by oleation and sudation, Vamana treats asthma, chronic congestion and Kapha-related disorders. An intense procedure reserved for medicalised Ayurvedic centres, it is offered only at the most authentic palace retreats.
